Sunset on the San Rafael Badlands
I had no business taking this photo - it was almost fully dark on the ground, but the sky lit up for a brief moment as I was out fossil hunting. Good thing I had my tripod. I really like this photo, glad it turned out!!

Deadly Storm passing over Flagstaff
This is one of those pictures that when you're taking it you think you're getting a neat shot of the clouds rolling over the San Francisco Peaks in Flagstaff. Later you learn this storm caused a huge accident that left some 100 cars wrecked, more than 50
